In 1847, Edward [Creer] together with his mother, four sisters, his wife and six children emigrated to America on the ship Charlotte, arriving in St. Louis, Missouri, in December of that year having been on the ocean eleven weeks. There were 150 saints in the company . . . [p.54]

. . . When the good ship Charlotte sailed from England, it brought the parents of Ann Creer Rowe [Edward Creer and Ann Morris Creer]. They arrived in Utah, September of 1854, crossing the plains in Captain Joseph Fielding's company. . . . [p.59] [THEY LIVED IN ST. LOUIS FOR SEVEN YEARS BEFORE DEPARTING FOR UTAH ON May 1, 1854].
