Off Queenstown, Oct. 27, 1889.President George Teasdale.
Dear Brother,--We arrived here this morning about seven o'clock. All is well with us. The weather is very fine, and has been pleasant all the time since we left Liverpool. The Saints have been on deck almost constantly, and no seasickness has been experienced. The songs of Zion can therefore be heard in one part or another of the ship nearly all the time, and we are indeed going to Zion rejoicing.
The two returning missionaries who were sick feel somewhat better, and we hope they will continue to improve.
With kind regards to yourself and all the brethren at "42," [42 Islington WAS THE ADDRESS OF THE ENGLISH MISSION] we once more bid you goodbye, hoping that we shall have the pleasure of meeting you in Zion in the Lord's own due time.
Yours in the gospel covenant,
A. L. Skanchy,O. Olson,C. C. A. Christensen. [p.700]
