New York, Oct. 2, 1889President George Teasdale.
Dear Brother,--The company of Saints which sailed from Liverpool on the 21st of September, in charge of President Rasmus Larson, reached New York on Tuesday evening, Oct. 1st, all feeling well. The weather was very disagreeable while we were crossing the ocean, and the consequence was that we were all more or less seasick. We were met by Mr. Gibson, who gave us all the information and assistance possible. We can speak highly of that gentleman. We leave for Norfolk tomorrow, October 3rd. No difficulties were encountered - all went well, and we thank the Lord for his protecting care.
Praying that he will always be with the faithful, I remain your brother in the covenant,
C. Tueller. [p.684]
