. . . 18th, I went to the office at 42 Islington again and had a long talk with B. H. Roberts. Elder Roberts give me a black silk cap to wear on board ship and on the train.
There were 105 Saints and 6 elders in our company. Elder Quincy Nichols was sustained as president and Elder James Quigley counselor with Elder Phillip Foster, chaplain. We held four meetings during the voyage and arrived at New York June 26, 1887, and at Logan, Utah July 7th. [p.294]
