"DEPARTURE. -- The second company of this season's emigration sailed from Liverpool per S. S. Wisconsin, on the 16th instant. There were 197 British, 1 Swedish, and 61 Swiss and German emigrants, and 15 returning missionaries. An interesting meeting was held on board the ship, and instructive remarks made by Elders C. W. Penrose and G. Osmond, and the following organization effected: president, Nathaniel M . Hodges; counselors, William D. Williams and Gottlieb Hirschi."

"Sat. 16. [May 1885] . . . The steamship Wisconsin sailed from Liverpool, with 174 Saints, including 15 returning missionaries, under direction of N. M. Hodges. On the 27th it arrived in New York, and the company arrived in Salt Lake City, June 2nd."
