We have received the following from President [Louis P.] Lund, written on the S.S. Wisconsin and dated April 12, 1885.
"We sailed along nicely yesterday. Called the Saints together last evening and sang a hymn and had prayers with them, after which, the clouds passed away and we have had a smooth sea and a pleasant night's rest. All feel well this morning, with the exception of one or two, and they are upon deck taking a walk and are feeling better. All hands have eaten breakfast and are on deck looking for Queenstown, where we will arrive about twelve noon. The rough element on board has subsided, and I have made the acquaintance of the captain and purser, who assure me that every courtesy shall be extended to our people. The elders are all feeling well." [p.252]
