“Friday, Oct. 28 . . .Releases and Departures - -Sister Selina J Maynes, who has been laboring in the British mission, was honorably released immediately after the death of her husband, President John A Maynes, on the 14th of October, 1915. In company with her daughter, Dorothy, she left Liverpool on the 22nd of October, for Salt Lake City, o the s.s. ‘Scandinavian,’ to accompany the remains to their last resting place in the Valleys of the Mountains. Elders Marion Knight and William J Bruce, Jr. who have also been laboring as missionaries in the British mission, have been honorably released, left on the same boat for their home in Utah.
