“Saturday, Nov. 13 . . . Releases and Departures - - Elder Edward A Olsen, of the Scandinavian mission has been honorably released and sailed for home per s.s. ‘Cedric,’ November 13th, 1909. The following named missionaries have been honorably released and sailed for home to-day per s.s. ‘Canada’: From Great Britain - - J G Johnston, A William Hall, Frank T Bennett, R D Lowe, L Vera Toolson, Thomas J Bennett, C E Summerhays, Joseph Y Card, Joseph Spackman, Albert Black. From Scandinavia - - P.R. Peterson, Joseph S Baird, George S Schow, O. C. Larsen, Soren Christiansen. From the Netherlands - -E.L. Clawson. With the company were forty-three emigrants, in charge of Elders Thomas J Bennett, J.G. Johnston, and Soren Christiansen. (Mill.Star, 71:735).” [BMMH,1909].
