“Tuesday, May 27 . . ..The following named elders, after completing missions in South Africa covering a period of over four years, have been honorably released and have reached Liverpool on their way home, sailing on the s.s. ‘Baltic,’ June 14th, 1919: LeGrand O Bachman, Jesse D Jewkes, Richard E Folland, Leonard A Robind, Wilford D Le Cheminant. The Elders en route from South Africa to their homes in Zion, were detained in Liverpool from June 14th, waiting for their ship, the ‘Baltic,’ to be released. They sailed for New York on June 26th.
