“Thursday, February 9. . . The steamship ‘Furnessia’ sailed from Glasgow, Scotland, with 17 Saints on board, bound for Utah. There were 4 British and 1 German emigrants and 12 returning missionaries, namely, Peter Loutensock, in charge of the company, LeRoy C. Snow, Charles H. Miles, C [BLANK SPACE] M Brown, F [Frank] Penrose, W [BLANK SPACE] Z. Terry, W [William] D. Neal, Mrs. Wm [William] D. Neal, Read T. Cannon, Wm [William] O. Mawson, F [BLANK SPACE] S.
