“Saturday, July 2. The steamship, ‘Furnassia’ sailed from Glasgow, Scotland, with 36 emigrating Saints on board, bound for Utah. There were 24 emigrating Saints (12 British, 11 Scandinavian, and 1 Swiss) and 12 returning missionaries, namely, Hyrum A. Reeve (president of the company), Don B. Colton, John Llyod, Oscar C. Barton, John F.A. Howard, Wallace Cragun, Orson Allen, Wm. [William] T. Noall, David Everett, George Shearn, Ephraim Bjorkland, and Peter Erickson. (Orig. Doc.)” [BMMh, 1898].
