“A company of emigrating Saints (30 in number) sailed from Copenhagen, May 4, [1899], bound for Utah, accompanied by Elder Andrew Anderson, who had presided over the Skane conference, and Jens Niels Hansen, who had labored in the Copenhagen Conference. This company crossed the North Seas in the steamer “Berlin” and arrived at Leith, Scotland, May 8th. Boarding the steamer “Ethiopia” they sailed from Glasgow, Scotland, May 11, 1899, and reached Salt Lake City, June 10, 1899.” [HSM, 371]
