“Thursday, November 9. . . .The steamship ‘Anchoria’ sailed from Glasgow, Scotland, with 66 Saints on board, bound for Utah. The company consisted of 40 emigrating Saints (11 British, 19 Swiss, and 20 Scandinavian) and 14 returning Elders, namely P [BLANK SPACE] J. Sandberg, John E. Groberg, John P. Lofgren, David Blomquist, Joseph Jensen, Sven W. Hill, Erastus F. Ronnow, J [BLANK SPACE] E. Heiner, C [written in –Conrad] S. Vaterlaus, Edward Sutton, A [BLANK SPACE] A. Gibbons, Daniel Clark, Harold P. Jennings, and James Hunter. The visitors were Mrs. H. P. Jennings and child (Harold). (Orig. Doc.)” [BMMH, 1899].
